Refund & Shipping Policy
Chhavi-From Loom to Legacy is committed to Customer Service, We understand that under certain situations exchange, refund and cancellation may be required. Following is our exchange, refund and cancellation policy.
- All sarees at Chhavi-From Loom to Legacy are weaved on handloom. Minor variations are expected from piece to piece which add to the beauty of the saree and make each piece unique. These minor variations will not be considered as defects.
- Return and Exchange requests shall be raised within 3 days from the date of delivery. You must email your requests at support@shopchhavi.com with complete details.
- Only defective items are eligible for Refund. Refund will be credited back into the original source of payment within 15 days from receiving the product back.
- For all returns, providing an uncut unboxing video is mandatory. Video should clearly show brand logo present on the paper bag of the consignment.
- For returns arising from any other reason than defective product, Store credits will be credited to the customer’s account after the product is received back and passes all the quality checks.
- Made to Order are not eligible for Returns.
- Shipping charges will be deducted on all the returns except for the returns raised due to delivery of defective products.
- Customers can use complete store credits to buy any other item from the entire website.
- Customer returning the product must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and it its original condition with all tags intact.
- Original Invoice is mandatory for raising return and exchange requests.
- Custom/ Serviced products/ made to order/finished product(s) cannot be exchanged. It includes stitching, alterations, fall, finishing etc.
- There is no guarantee that an identical piece of the exchanged product, will be in stock.
- Finished/Customized items where Fall, Tassels, Piko, Net etc are added, which were not originally part of the items when advertised, are not eligible for return.
- The Company reserves the right to decide if the product is in the condition for exchange and such decision of Company shall be final and binding.
- The Company shall not be liable for any claim arising out of any special, indirect remote, delays, economic or consequential loss or damage.
- All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts of Delhi only.
- The Company tries to deliver all products within stipulated and suggested timelines of the courier/ service providers, however for any delays the Company cannot be held liable.
How do I cancel an order on Shopchhavi.com?
If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order.
For outright cancellations by you:
- If the cancellation is raised before your product has shipped, the entire amount will be refunded.
- If the cancellation is raised after your product has shipped, it will be eligible only for replacement, store credits will be credited to the customer’s account.
Product Care:
Every Chhavi- From Loom to Legacy product is styled and crafted with love, affection & passion, and we suggest that you take extra care of these one-of-a-kind pieces. We recommend:
- Dryclean ONLY for all our Silk Certified Sarees
- Cotton Gamchha sarees can be handwashed and then dried in shade. No machine wash.
- Avoid brining in contact with liquids esp. perfumes.
- Please store in a clean dry place away from moisture. The use of naphthalene balls or any other such products while storing the sarees is not suggested.
- Change fold regularly, and store in brand’s pure cotton saree cover only.
